A self-proclaimed pop culture freak, I love anime, trashy reality TV and celebrity gossip. When I'm not at a convention, you'll likely find me at a Sunday morning movie matinee, a book store or curled up in bed reading and doom scrolling.
Art has always been my therapy, and it brings me the greatest joy. Learn more about my art process below!
Art process
My art style blends traditional abstract maximalism with beloved anime and pop culture characters to create truly unique fanart.
I begin every piece by illustrating and cutting my own stencils, which vary in size and detail. I place my stencil and paint over top with alcohol ink, blending and moving the colors until it captures the feelings I'm looking for.
I always try to use colors that not only relate to the character, but pull us into certain scenes and recall those feelings we had while watching and reading our favorite series.
Once the paint has dried, I pull up my stencil, leaving the characters in the negative space.
Every step of my process has detailed planning and creation by me. My one rule for creating fanart: I have to actually be a fan. Rest assured that we can always chat about art and any of the fandoms you see.
