About

I'm a 26-year-old Ohio native, currently residing near Akron, where I balance a career in marketing with a passion for creating.
My Story
Art has been an escape for me since I was young. Growing up, I was subjected to abuse, domestic violence and, for a while, poverty. Those experiences led to a lot of anxiety and depression throughout my adolescence and adult life.
Creating is my therapy. It’s how I heal my soul. Whenever things start to pile up and feel like too much, art saves me. It’s one of the biggest blessings in my life, and I hope I can bring joy and some form of healing for people who enjoy my work.
Art Style
I loved drawing when I was younger — from pencils to charcoals to pastels — but I had developed carpal tunnel in my hands, and it was affecting several areas of my life. My happiness has always been linked to my creativity, and I was feeling stunted and frustrated for a long time. When I discovered fluid art, my creativity was reignited. This is an art form that’s not only fun to do and mesmerizing to look at, but also is easy on my hands. The worst part is mixing resin, which I sometimes enlist my boyfriend to help with. Professional Background
I am a mostly self-taught artist whose first love was writing and editing. I graduated from Kent State University in 2016 with a degree in journalism and minor in poetry writing. I later found my call in marketing and haven't looked back since.
